Last week the Zoobe team got on a plane with destination Dublin to attend one of the most important tech conferences in Europe: the Web Summit! As one of the startups selected in the Beta track, we shared the floor with 2,000 other startups from all over the world. Berlin was a great representative this year and we were among the 10 companies from the German capital to be present in this edition.
In the 4 days we were in Dublin, there was time for pitches, networking, workshops, great talks on the main stage and of course, some fun in the pubs of Dublin. Lenard Krawinkel, Zoobe's founder and CEO, got interviewed by the Irish Times and as you can see in the video, we definitely rocked our Angela Merkel's masks.
And not only the media loved our masks, but also the visitors to the Zoobe booth couldn't help themselves and shared the fun on Twitter:
As you can see, the Web Summit crowd is definitely made of the most enthusiastic, curious and innovative people around Europe, so it was a pleasure to show them the magic of Zoobe. Everyone we showed the app to were amazed about it, even the taxi drivers went to wear the Merkel masks or gave improvised master performances:
All in all was a hell of week in Dublin and we are absolutely grateful we had the opportunity to attend Web Summit this year and spend some time with the fun Dubliners. We'll be back for Web Summit 2015!
